Timing
From the horoscope to your life

Timing Changes Everything
A natal horoscope describes the underlying structure
Transits show when different parts of that structure become activated
That is why two years can feel completely different even though you are still the same person with the same birth chart
Illustrative career periods
- Promotion
- Better role
- Increased authority
- Business growth
- Recognition
- Stagnation
- Workplace pressure
- Redundancy
- Conflict with authority
- Uncertainty about direction
The chart itself has not changed
The timing has
The Past Is Part Of The Evidence
Before placing too much importance on future prediction, I look at the periods that have already happened
- Career changes
- Relationships
- Moves
- Financial periods
- Family events
- Difficult years
- Breakthroughs
If the timing in the horoscope cannot meaningfully describe the life already lived, there is little reason to place confidence in a forecast of what comes next
The past helps establish how the horoscope operates for that individual
Then we move forward
What Astrology Does Not Do
Astrology should not replace:
- medical diagnosis
- legal advice
- financial advice
- personal responsibility
Nor should it be treated as a promise that one event must happen on one exact date
Its value is in recognising patterns, stronger and weaker areas, major cycles and timing windows that can help somebody understand the wider landscape around a decision
